Snacka tryggt
Rädda Barnen • 2022
"Snacka tryggt" is an interactive conversation training tool developed for Rädda Barnen (Save the Children Sweden). The project aims to empower adults—parents, teachers, and other caregivers—to talk safely and confidently with children about difficult topics, specifically violence and abuse.
I was part of the team that built this dialog-based game. The tool simulates realistic conversations, guiding users through various scenarios where they learn how to listen, react, and support a child who might be experiencing harm.
Technical Implementation
- CMS driven conversations: Conversation flows are fully customisable and built within a CMS, allowing content creators to update dialogs without code changes.
- Motion driven interactivity: A highly interactive experience with smooth, polished animations powered by Framer Motion. I designed and implemented a custom page transition system to ensure seamless continuity between conversation steps, along with subtle microinteractions to make it feel like a highly interactive game like experience.
- Graph visualization tool: We built a custom internal tool to visualize the conversation graph, enabling the team to manage complex logic including loops and branching paths.
Key Features
- Interactive Scenarios: Realistic dialog simulations that adapt based on user choices.
- Educational Feedback: Immediate guidance on conversation techniques and best practices.
- Safe Learning Environment: A judgement-free space for adults to practice and build confidence.
